February Favourites!

Hello Again,

Every month Im going to try and do a monthly favourite of all the products i've been enjoying using this month. Lets get started!

The first thing I've been loving using this month has been the B. Pure Micellar water. To see a more in depth review of that, click here.

Another product i've enjoyed using has been the L'oreal Elvive Nutri-Gloss Crystal Sparkling Shampoo and Conditioner. ( Bit of a mouthful!!) 

 This shampoo makes my hair really shiny and soft. The conditioner works well also.

It actually has sparkles in!!

Going back to skin, I've really enjoyed using the Clearasil Skin Perfecting Wash. I usually prefer things to have fancy packaging but i picked this up in Wilkinsons last month and I'm so glad I did. It cleans my skin well, and leaves it lovely and soft. Highly reccomend!

I have tried out the Lush Ro's Argan body conditioner. I was a bit skeptical as it is literally like a conditioner for your hair except its for your body!! It really leaves my skin super soft and the smell is pleasant.

 Fragrance wise, i've enjoyed using the Bvalgari perfume- It smells quite- smart and sophisticated, im not entirely sure on how to describe scents! I've also been liking the Hollister body mist in crystal cove (the green one) for everyday. Its quick and easy and smells amazing!! It reminds me of france because i took it with me there.

At the end of last month I purchased the E.L.F studio stippling brush and i love it! It washes well and distributes blush really evenly onto my cheeks!!

Also my mum got me a MAC 190 brush which i've been using for my foundation and it works incredibly well!

 I've been using the Rimmel Match Perfection foundation all month and it is very nice. I'd say it was light/medium coverage and it doesnt look orange.

Ive been using my Sleek Cosmetics Lace blush pallette. The shade i've been reaching most for is Guipure which is a lovely peachy pink shade with shimmer. The other colours will be great for spring and summer!

And last but not least as its been quite cold, my hands were getting really dry so  this has been my saviour! It works well, and really moisturizes my hands well. Also the smell isnt overpowering and i really like it.

REVIEW | B. Pure Micellar Water

This is my first review of something so let me know if you like it!

I'm going to be reviewing the B. Pure Micellar Water.

I was in superdrug the other day and I was literally just about to leave, when I saw this beauty. The reason I gravitated towards it was because for ages now I have been hearing loads of people banging on about how great these waters are for example a big favourite in the beauty community is Bioderma. I really would like to try Bioderma however it hasn't been released yet in the UK and it is extremely difficult to get hold of as it is sold in french pharmacies (There is amazon but p&p is expensive!! )

Even though I cannot compare the two as I've never tried Bioderma, i would make the assumption that this is the drugstore alternative for it- and I have to say i really like it!!

The front of the bottle reads:

"Quick and easy 3-in-1 cleanser that dissolves impurities in a single sweep, no water required. Ideal for all skin types, even the most sensitive"

Usually in order to take off my makeup, I'll reach for my trusty makeup remover wipes, however I really want to get into properly cleansing my skin (next on my list is Liz Earle Cleanse & Polish!)

I really like that this doesn't sting my eyes. I have had the Clinique take the day off cleansing milk, and although that is meant for the face only, even if I got the tiniest amount of it in my eyes, it literally felt like my eyes were bleeding!

This on the other hand, is lovely and refreshing, and takes off all of my makeup almost instantly!! I apply it with a cotton pad, I usually use 3 ( 1 for my face, 1 for my eyes, and then 1 to rub over my entire face to make sure everything is gone)

After using this I go ahead and wash my face with my regular facewash and already I have seen an improvement in my skin. I'm no dermatologist here, but when you use makeup wipes you can't get deep within your pores, and you only really are removing the makeup thats left on your face- with cleansing creams, waters, oils however, you can truly cleanse your face- your skin will thank you for it!!

I have combination skin, and it is very sensitive, and this doesn't irritate it at all.

you get 150 ml which isnt bad,and I love the design of the bottle- it looks very sophisticated in my bathroom! I love the bubbles on the front of it, and the hint of pink in the logo. Also the plastic is very sturdy which is ideal for travel!!

Effectiveness:

This does what it says on the tin (bottle) and it feels lovely and refreshing (espescially in the mornings) The only reason I didn't give 5 stars is because i have to use 3 cotton pads which isnt a bad thing, and its probably just me being anal aha but nontheless this is a great product.

This is a lovely product to use and i think it's a great alternative to bioderma! I would reccomend trying this, for only £4.99 you can't go wrong!! My skin looks and feels a lot healthier, and I feel like I am properly cleaning my skin.

Hello there!

Hello, I thought I'd start this blog because I've been thinking about starting one for ages (about 2 years) but every time I have tried I have never been consistent with them, or never really been sure on what I should write about.

 However the other day I saw that my friend Beckie had made her own blog ( Beckies Blog)and i really liked it. So far she only has 2 posts but I liked the concept of her blog, and I think if she continues with it, it could become really popular.

 Anyway, after reading her blog, it inspired me to create this blog, so I am going to try and post at least once a week. I'll give you a couple of facts about me, and what you might expect to see in the future of this blog...

 1) I am 15 years old (nearly 16 though!! woop woop) and I am currently studying for my GCSE's. (I'm studying English, Maths, Science, French, German, Dance, ICT, Sports BTEC, & History.

2) My Favorite subject is French, because I find it relatively easy, and I like the fact that you can communicate with other people in a different language- I don't know why this fascinates me so, but there we go! (That rhymed! haha I'm a poet and i didn't even know it ;) )

 3) I LOVE watching YouTube videos, especially beauty videos. I discovered the YouTube community about 3 years ago, and have been hooked ever since. (Although i am not confident enough to make my own videos)Maybe,I'll dedicate a post to some of my favourite youtuber's in the future.

 4) I love dancing. I take dance at school and I have been involved in something called Rock Challenge for 5 years ( I will definitely dedicate a post about this in about 2 weeks)

 5) I love researching about upcoming beauty/skincare products. It's a bit of a weird hobby but I like doing it. My mum always asks me about makeup or products she's bought hahaha!

 6) In the future I would love to become a beauty editor for a fashion magazine- it would be AHH-MAA-ZINGGG!!!!

 7) I have a really great group of friends, and we always have a laugh together.

 8) I have a crazy obsession with cats and turtles. I have a pet cat called smokey and he's so cute and special to me. I don't really know where my obsession with turtles emerged from but hey ho!

 9)I cant wait to go to college, and I have chosen to study: English Language, French, Sociology, and Classical Civilization. ( I'm gunna have a blast :P )

 10) On this blog, I'll post random things about my life, maybe I'll even chuck in the odd product review here and there- who knows?

 So yeah, thats me in a nutshell, I'm going to try and keep this up, because i love reading blogs, and this will be interesting to read back when I am older- almost like a documentary of my life i suppose.
