Massive Body Shop Haul + Apology

Hello good people of the internet,

So sorry for lack of posts, to be honest there isn't really an excuse, I just was feeling uninspired and stressed out with college but now Im back, and with a massive haul! Yay....

As i was browsing the internet the other day, I remembered I had run out of my holy grail facewash, so I went onto the Body Shop website. Big mistake. Although not really as I got all this cool stuff! Basically the deal they had on was spend £50 and get £25 off, which was too good to not use... isn't it? It was, ok. I have an issue. Anyway, one facewash turned into 9 products... I have no regrets.

I decided to get the Strawberry Eau de Toilette as every time I go into the Body Shop I sniff this and instantly want it, so now i have it, i will be smelling like a strawberry all day every day...

Along a similar line, someone in my english class at college sprayed this the other day and It smelt so so so good so I thought i'd get this as well coz it smells seriously amazing, and I don't even like mangos....

The real reason I went onto their website was to get about my 4th tube of the Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Wash as it is literally my holy grail face wash, and everytime I run out my skin gets awful. As i love this so much, I decided to try out the Tea Tree Squeaky Clean Scrub as well, and I also picked up the Tea Tree Skin Clearing lotion, to try and rid my skin of those pesky spots....

In the colder months, my skin gets so dry, especially my hands, and I thought I'd get myself a hand cream that I can take with me everywhere. I went for the honeymania scent, as I have the body butter scent and I love it.
I have heard nothing but good things about the Camomile Silky Cleansing Oil and I was nearing the end of my previous makeup remover so really it was a great opportunity to buy this.

Last but not least I randomly decided to get the Banana Shampoo and Conditioner because I remember when I was about 13 my friend used to use this all the time, but me being the stubborn 13 year old i was absolutely hated banana's (I still do- although i do enjoy a banana milkshake) thought i'd never ever rub banana in my hair. Now, after reading good reviews on these 2 I thought I'd suck it up and give them a go. The scent surprised me, as it does smell like bananas but it smells like banana milkshake which I love so yeah. Ill keep you posted on how I get on.

So thats everything I got! And all together everything came to £25.20 which for all of this stuff, I think is a bargain! If you ever want to get a body shop product I'd reccomend checking their website and signing up to their newsletter because they always have an amazing deal going on!

If you would like to see any reviews of these products leave a comment below, or tweet me at @curious_ginger

I hope to blog again soon!

Empties #3

Hello!

Long time no see! I have been rather busy at the moment, but now I am back! And i am armed with about 4 months worth of used products to share with you so lets get started.

x2 Simple Skincare Makeup Removing Wipes

I went through a face wipe stage, and these are the best ones I have come across. They are a bit more expensive than usual ones, but they are really soft, and they don't irritate my skin, so I would definitely repurchase!

The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Facial Wash

I love this! It is my new favourite face wash. It is really refreshing and helps soothe and prevent break outs and its only £5, I already have repurchased this, and I will continue to do so!

Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It

this was a really abrasive scrub,  and it was really nice, although I probably wont repurchase for a while as I want to try some more scrubs and compare them to it.

Superdrug deep pore cleansing pads

These were amazing! I used them after cleansing and it just made sure it was really cleansed, and also helped when I had any spots. I would repurchase these, as they were very affordable.

Deep Cleansing Face Pore Strips

I used these on my nose, and to be honest I didn't see that much of a difference, but i found it really interesting peeling it off! Thats really gross isn't it...

L'oreal Skin Perfection Oil

I wanted to try a cleansing oil, but I didn't want to spend loads of money, so I opted for this. I actually really enjoyed using this, and I would repurchase, but I am trying another cleanser at the moment, so I don't need to!

Avons Natural Juicy Watermelon Shower Gel

This is really summery, and well it's a shower gel, so I would repurchase ahah! Don't wanna be skankyyyyyy

Benefit its Potent Eye Cream

I used this sample ages ago, but I seem to remember it felt nice and refreshing around my eyes, but I am not going to repurchase this because its a bit too expensive for me!

Charles Worthington Salon Finish Heat Defence Spray

This was pretty bog standard, and I didnt really feel like it did anything special, although it did prevent split ends so that's a plus!

L'oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray

I didn't really like this, because I have really thick hair and this just didnt seem to hold it.

Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo & Conditioner

I took these to Tunisia with me and they were amaaazing! They smelled lush, and made my hair feel incredible! Definitely will repurchase these.

Eyeko Skini Mini Liquid Eyeliner

I got this with a magazine and it was actually very good! If you get the chance to try this, I'd say go for it!

Benefit They're Real Mascara

I adore this mascara, and I have already repurchased it! I am a bit of a mascara whore, so this must be very special if I repurchased:P

Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer

I think everyone has heard about this.. But anyway I really loved using this and I need to repurchase it soon! Its high coverage and affordable!

Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer

I used this under my eyes and it really worked nicely at brightening them up a bit! I would probably repurchase.

So there we go!
phewwww.

More posts coming soon!

I got my makeup bag as a birthday present, and I am in love with it! Its from Ted Baker, and it is in a gorgeous bright coral colour. I love this because it is really high quality and you can fit lots in it. Also the insides can be wiped down if you spill makeup so that's always a plus.

Sooo what am I taking?

5. Rimmel Stay Matte Powder
6. E.L.F Studio Blusher

Lust List #4

Hello everyone!

Lucky you! Two posts in one day...
Today I thought I'd share with you some things that I really want to buy but either A- don't have the money, or B- can't bring myself to spend the money...

1.The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool and Creamy Cleanser
£5 here
I really want to try this, as I saw Essie Button (Estee) mention it in her May favourites, and she sold it to me! Its supposed to leave your skin feeling incredibly clean which is appealing to me!

2. Hydraluron Serum
£24.99 here
I have never tried a Serum before, and I have heard this one is supposed to be good. My skin isn't that dry, but this is supposed to keep it moisturized which sounds intriguing.

3.Emma Hardie Amazing Face Natural Lift & Sculpt Moringa Cleansing Balm
£36.00 here
I have been wanting to try this for soooo long, but I can't bring myself to buy it, because I don't know if I will like it! This has really good reviews, and maybe one day I will cave in. I tell you what though, it has the longest product name ever.

4. Mac Crosswires Lipstick
£15.00 here
Again, another Essie Button inspired product, but this is a really pretty coral shade, which I think will look awesome for summer, as I prefer to wear coral, than red or pink.

5. Estee Lauder Doublewear Foundation
£28.50 here
Again this is something I have been wanting to try for ages! This is a full on heavy coverage foundation, which is supposed to last for a really long time, and that sounds up my street.

6. Mac See Sheer Lipstick
£15.00 here
This is described as a sheer grapefruit shade, and I have seen swatches of this and it looks so pretty!

7. Mac Studio Fix Powder Plus Foundation
£21.50 here
I have heard so many good things about this and I would love to try it. It's supposed to be a full coverage powder which you can use over foundation, or on its own.

8. See By Chloe Eau de Parfum
£39.00 here
I had seen loads of YouTubers talking about this recently, so when I went into Debenhams the other day I sprayed some on, and FELL IN LOVE. I love the original Chloe Perfume, but this smells so good! I might get it in duty free when I go on holiday!

9.Nikon 1 J2 Compact System Camera
£179.99 here
I really want a new camera, and I've seen this one advertised quite a lot and it seems quite good. If any of you have it, what are your thoughts? I would be using it for blog posts, and random pictures.

So they are all the things I have had my eyes on recently! Do you have any of these products? If so what are your opinions, and do you think they are a good buy?

May Favourites 2014

Hey guys!

It has been a very long time since I have done a favourites post, so this feels weird, but let's just get started!

1. Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream for Oily Skin

In May, there was a bit of a heatwave, so I didn't really feel like wearing heavy foundation on my face, so I opted for this, as it still has medium to full coverage, but it feels like a moisturizer, and it is lighter on the skin. The only thing I hate about this is the smell, but other than that, I have been loving it this month!

2. Urban Decay Primer Potion in Sin

I got the NAKED 2 palette for my birthday, and it came with samples of all of their primer potions. I already had the original, so I found myself reaching for this one. It is a champagne colour, and looks really nice on its own, and underneath shadows. It makes them last all day which is a win as well! I really liked using this throughout this month.

3. Urban Decay Eyeshadow in Half-Baked

This month I have been a tad more experimental with eyeshadow, and something I loved doing, was taking a matte brown shade over my lid (Such as Buck, or Naked 2 from the naked basics palette) and then on my lower lash line, taking some of halfbaked on a small brush and applying it there. I found it looks so summery, and its an subtle way to wear gold eyeshadow without looking OTT. Also, the pigmentation is incredible.

4. Elf Studio Blush in Candid Coral

I never usually wear blusher on a day to day basis, as I find it looks too harsh on me, but this one has changed that! It isn't too pink, or too orange, it looks so natural, and injects life into my face! Not literally!
It was also really cheap, and the colour pay off is good. I like using this with the Elf Studio Blush Brush.

5. Marc Jacobs Daisy Perfume

Firstly, DAT BOTTLE THO. Secondly, I have been loving this perfume this month, as it is so fruity and fresh, and its not too overpowering. Also the bottle is really cool as well... I'm a sucker for packaging what can I say?

6. Rose Gold Spirit Watch

I got this watch to use during exam season, as for certain exams you need to stick to specific timings, in order to finish your paper! Anyway, I like this watch as It looks really elegant, and goes with most of my outfits.

I have some random favourites this month as well:

7.The Vampire Diaries

I loved season 5. But the finale was so so so sad, I wont spoil anything in case you haven't seen it yet, but prepare yourselfs! The Vampire Diaries is basically about a girl, and 2 vampire brothers, and their friends and all the struggles they face, It's nothing like twilight, and I highly reccomend this!

8 Suits

Another TV program I have been loving, is Suits. It is based in a Law firm in New York and its so funny, and witty. I didn't think I would like this, but I am addicted, and the story lines are so interesting!

9. Owl City

I have loved him for aged, but in this  month particularly, I loved his song "I hope you think of me" It's so catchy, and I can listen to it on repeat without getting bored.

10. Sims FreePlay

I rediscovered an old love this month. I used to be addicted to this game last summer, however I forgot about it, but now my mum and sister are playing it again, I got back into it again and I just love it. It's really addicting.

So that's it for this month. What have you been loving?

Skincare Routine \\ May 2014

Hello:)

I haven't done an updated skincare routine in a really long time so today, I thought I would show you guys how I look after my skin.

NB: I realize these pictures are dreadful, and I am looking to purchase a new camera, however I am still saving and I've lost the charger to my old camera so please bear with me! I promise it will be better soon.

Anyway, lets talk skincare...

Step 1: Cleansing

If I can be bothered, (which admittedly is most of the time, as I really enjoy taking my make up off in the evenings), I use the L'Oreal Skin Perfection 15 Second Miracle Cleansing Oil.  I have nearly used all of this up now so I feel in a pretty good position to tell you guys what I really think.

1. What I do, is I take about 2-3 pumps of the oil on my CLEAN hands (I have an obsession with washing my hands. its weird.) and I rub the oil together on my fingertips and then apply it to my face, when it is completely dry. After I have massaged it in, I take some warm water and rinse it off thoroughly. When the oil touches the water it emulsifies, and turns into a milky consistency.  If I was wearing particularly heavy makeup, then I might repeat this, to ensure my face is makeup free!

2. What I really like about this product, is that although admittedly at first I was a little apprehensive at the thought of rubbing oil into my face, seeing as I have oily/combination skin, I found that  it leaves my skin looking so refreshed and soft, and most importantly, it doesn't sting my eyes! I haven't suffered from any MAJOR breakouts because of this so, if you are in the market for a new cleanser, I would reccomend this:)

If I am feeling lazy, or I haven't worn much makeup, then I go for Simple Kind to Skin Facial Cleansing Wipes.

There's not really much to say about these, but I like that they don't irritate my skin, they are really soft, and they remove makeup really well. If you are a makeup wipes kind of gal, these are a definite must try!

Step 2: Washing of the face

In the mornings, I don't use the cleansers, as I don't have any makeup on, and I shower every morning without fail.(No shower in the morning = unhappy Lauren)  When I am in the shower I like using the Clean & Clear Morning Energy Skin Energising Daily Facial Wash  as firstly the smell is so refreshing and it really wakes me up, but also as it has little beads in it, which burst as you massage them into the face, and I find it makes my skin look brighter, and it doesn't leave my skin feeling tight.
I also love the packaging, as it comes in a pump which is really convenient, and especially in the mornings, it comes in tres handy!

At night times, after cleansing my face, I like to use Clean & Clear Advantage Clear & Soothe Daily Scrub because it is a gentle exfoliator and it really soothes my skin down. Also as it has extracts of Aloe Vera in it, it helps to calm redness and combat breakouts.

Step 3: The finishing touches...

Hello crappy photo!
After I have gotten out of the shower, or finished washing my face, I use Superdrugs Pore Cleansing Pads and I really enjoy using them. You take out one pad, and rub the textured side all over your face, and then flip the pad over to the smooth side, and go over your face again.

These ensure my face is really free of all the makeup and grime of the day, and also really work well at cleaning my pores. They are really inexpensive as well, so I would give them a try if you suffer from clogged pores, or Acne, as they contain Salicylic Acid to fight breakouts as well.

After that has dried, I moisturize using Simple Kind to Skin Light Hydrating Moisturizer. This is my holy grail moisturizer and I love it. It isn't scented so doesn't irritate my skin, and It dries really quickly, and it leaves my skin feeling so soft and hydrated. I love this!

So thats it for my skincare routine! About 2 times a week I like to use a facemask as well, but I was thinking of doing a separate post on that sometime in the near future.

Hope you liked the post, and as always, if you have any questions, please leave a comment!

Top 13 of 2013!

Hello!

Instead of doing a December favourites, I thought i'd share with you my top 13 products of 2013! The picture quality isn't great, but I promise in the new year, I will get better with that!

Anyway, moving on...

1. Clarisonic Mia 2

I got this product in April, and I have used it every single day since. It is a sonic face brush, which if I am totally honest, I'm not sure what means, however I know it cleans your face really, really, REALLY well! I use this every night, and no matter how well you remove your makeup, this will always get rid of it even more! I love it, and it makes my face so soft. If your skin is already quite clear, I wouldn't reccomend this, but if you struggle from acne, or the occasional breakout, this could be worth a try.

2. Liz Earle Cleanse and Polish Hot Cloth Cleanser

At first I was sceptical of this product as the hype surrounding it is huge, but after using  this (and repurchasing it two times) I can safely say, I see why. This is a cleanser, which you rub onto a dry face full of make up, and then remove with a damp muslin cloth. It doesn't sting your eyes, and removes makeup incredibly. It smells spa like, and has a lot of natural ingredients in. I'm definitely planning on repurchasing this ASAP.

3. Bioderma Micellar Water

I got this whilst holidaying in france, and at first, I didn't really understand the hype. But this is my second bottle, and I am about 3/4 of the way through it! I use this to remove my makeup and it removes even the most stubborn waterproof mascara! For me, I have wanted this forever and it hasn't dissapointed me.

4. Neutrogena 2-in-1 Visibly Clear Wash / Mask

I am a sucker for packaging, and admittedly, this packaging is on the boring side, but one day last january I thought i'd pick this up on a whim, and I am so so glad I did. This is my holy grail face wash, and even though it is so simple, its really effective for me. I use this at night with my clarisonic, and the two of them together are really great. It helps to minimize breakouts, and it's just one of those products that always seems to work for me. I've repurchased this at LEAST 4 times this year...

5. Revlon Colorstay Foundation Oily/Combination

I was hesitant to buy this for such a long time, but I am so glad I did. This is my go to medium/high coverage foundation, and if I know I want my makeup to last extra long, or i'm going to be doing a lot, I will use this. It has a really natural finish, and although it can be quite difficult to blend, once it dries, it is not going anywhere! I also used this foundation for prom so it holds a special place in my heart ;) How cute.. :P joking!

6. Urban Decay Naked Basics Palette

This was a birthday present, and I use this literally every day for college. My favourite colour by far is W.O.S (Walk of Shame) and I like to sweep it across my lids for a natural flawless colour. I like to use Naked 2 in my crease, I'll pop a bit of eyeliner and mascara on and I'm ready to go! I like this palette, because it is so easy to use, but also really travel friendly! I do own the original Naked palette which I also love, however I prefer this for everyday use.

7. Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Eyeliner in Corruption

Again, this was a birthday present, and I never really used to use eyeliner, but now I use it every single day! I really like how blendable this is, but once dried, it lasts all day! I'm definitely going to invest in more of these in the new year.

8. Mac Bare Study Paint Pot

I love using this as a base for my eyeshadows, especially when I'm doing a matte look.  I like this because it's a really natural shimmery cream shadow that lasts for ages. I want to get painterly paint pot soon :D

9. Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey

I didn't really rate this at first, but now I love it! It's my go to lipshade. MLBB (My lips but better) Its so easy to apply, and has a pleasant minty scent. It also lasts a really long time which is a bonus. I'm looking forward to the new year because I think they are bringing out matte versions of this so they should be interesting to try.

10. Nuxe Reve de Miel Lipbalm

For me, this is the best lip balm I have ever used. Fullstop. I love that it's an actual balm consistency, and it actually moisturizes your lips, rather than leaving them feeling moisturized for a little while, but then you have to keep re applying. Nope. With this you can apply it once, and you know that it's doing some serious moisturizing business! A must try if you suffer from dry lips.

11. Tangle Teezer

I have really long hair, so keeping it knot free is the bane of my life. This makes things a little more bearable (Although sometimes I feel like shaving all my hair off)  as it gets rid of knots with virtually no pain whatsoever. It's gentle on your hair so helps avoid damage, yet also really does get knots out of it. I love this! I also got my mum her own one for christmas as she always used to use mine!

12. Barry M Gelly Hi Shine Nail Varnishes

I love this formula of nail varnish, and as I am at college now, I'm actually allowed to paint my nails now. (on a serious note though, how painting nails would have affected my education/ GCSE results- I do not know!) These are so affordable, and the colour range is pretty good. I love their opacity and the finish on them is gorgeous! It looks like you have just had a gel manicure! LOVE LOVE LOVE these.

13. MAC 217 Brush

Last but certainly not least, my beautiful 217 brush from MAC. I love this, it makes doing eyeshadow so much easier. You can use this to blend out a crease colour flawlessly, or you can just blend out one shade, but make it look like you've spent ages on your make up. I really love this. If you want to start getting into wearing eyeshadow, I would highly reccomend this brush. It's a little pricey but it will last you a long time, so maybe it's worth the investment?

So, 2013 in a nutshell. Product wise at least! If you read my blog recently, you'll have heard me talk about these products before I am certain! Again, apologies for the picture quality, but that is something I'm really going to try and work on in the new year.

You will be getting a lot more posts as I plan on doing A LOT of shopping!

hehe!

Have a great new year

Autumn Makeup Staples 2013

Hey guys,

I'm in the mood for blogging today, so I am going to write up about 4 posts for you and spread them out through the week, so YAY for productivity!

So, when it comes to Autumn I like to switch out what makeup I use as firstly, it's an excuse to use different makeup, and also I feel a tad more experimental in Autumn, this is one of the many reasons I love Autumn the most! Anyway, lets move on..

Face

In the Autumn, I prefer my skin to look slightly more dewy as I think that it looks really pretty and fresh. I love using Revlon Photoready Foundation as it has medium coverage, and has a really nice finish. It isn't overly matte or overly dewey. Also, as the name would suggest, It looks good in photos:)

I like using rose-gold blushes in Autumn as again, it gives a nice flush to the cheeks which makes you look really healthy. The Sleek Blush By Three Palette in Lace has really gorgeous colours! They might look a little scary in the pan, but if you use them lightly, you can always build up if you feel you need it! I have put a little leaf (how autumnal!) on the middle shade, as it is the one I grab for the most!

Eyes

In Autumn, it's good to use some darker colours, it's fun to experiment and if you don't really feel that confident, then experiment at home! See what looks good on you. Eyeshadow wise, I like using the Maybelline 24 Hr Colour Tattoo in On and On Bronze either as a base if i'm going for something more dramatic, or on its own if I want it to look more natural. MAC Haute & Naughty Too Black Lash mascara is a really great one for this season, as it is extremely pigmented, and this works well when you are using more dramatic colours.  I love Urban Decay Naked Palette all year round, but in the picture below, I've highlighted some shades that I think look great in Autumn.

Sidecar, Smog and Toasted are all beautiful shades, and they all also work very well with the colour tattoo that I mentioned earlier.

I love lining my upper lash line with a dark brown eyeliner, and these two are the ones I reach for most.

The top swatch is MAC Pro Longwear Eyeliner in Rich Experience, which is a very dark chocolatey brown colour, which I think would work well with a lot of eye colours. The bottom swatch is Urban Decay 24/7 Glide On Eyeliner in Corrupt which is a brown with flecks of subtle glitter in. Both of these have amazing staying power, so If lining your upper lash line 'aint your thang (random outburst of slang, I don't even know.) , they would stay put on the waterline as well!

Lips

Lipstick is a very personal preference kind of thing, but I have picked out some shades which I think everyone could try, or maybe get some ideas. Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 107 is a very deep, dark berry/wine colour. It has a matte finish and amazing pigmentation. If you are looking for a good 'night out' lipstick, this could be for you. If you are feeling particularly daring you could wear this in the daytime too!

Next up, is Revlon Colorstay Ultimate Suede Lipstick in 050 Couture. This is not as pigmented, but you can build up its coverage fairly well. I would say this has a matte finish as well which personally, I really like for the colder months. It is more of a red toned berry colour. Again, this would be great for a night out, as it lasts for ages on the lips, but if you apply just one coat of this, you could easily wear this in the day time.

Rimmel Kate Moss Lipstick in 08, is another great Autumn shade, and it's easier to wear than the previous two. It doesn't have a matte finish but it isn't overly shiny. The colour is a dusky pink/rose colour and this is very wearable. For me this kind of my 'your lips but better' shade, and its the one I find myself reaching for the most.

Benefit Benetint, is a really beautiful shade. It leaves your lips looking stained, almost as if you have just eaten a red berry, which I think looks really beautiful. This is so easy to wear, and you can tone it down, or add more coats of this to make your lips really pop!

Keep your eyes peeled for reviews on the Kate Moss Lipsticks very soon on my blog:)

So, there are some ways that you can switch up your makeup bag this Autumn. If you have any of these products, then let me know what you think of them, and if you don't then are there any you want to try?

See you very soon!

July Favourites

August is fast approaching, so here comes the July Favourites. I'd say July was a pretty good month for me overall. I had a taster day at college which I enjoyed, I got a job, I went to spain, and the weather has been good! Roll on August!

Makeup Favourites

KIKO Full Coverage Concealer

I got this about half way through the month, and I really like it. It suits my skin better now I have a bit of a tan, and it stays on all day! Also I like the packaging as it comes with a mirror, so thats really practical!

Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream

I was using this non-stop through the beginning of July! It's a bit light for me now, but I thought It still deserved a mention. Usually I don't like BB creams as I found they just didn't give me the coverage I wanted, but this one is different. It provides good coverage, and lasts a pretty long time. One thing I will say is I hate the smell of it!

MAC Paintpot In Bare Study

I think I can safely say I used this everyday in July. It's really nice and has a subtle shimmer which makes you look really awake. I put this on all over my lid, and sometimes I'll just leave it like that, but usually I put my eyeshadow on top of this and it lasts all day!

Revlon Colorburst Lip Butter in Tutti Frutti

I have been loving wearing brighter colours on my lips this month, and I found myself reaching for this one alot. I'm sure by now, everyone and their cat has heard about these Lip Butters, but they are really moisturizing, and the colour range is great.

Gold by Giles Pink Nail Varnish

It doesn't look like anything special in the bottle, but when you put it on your nails it transforms into a neon pink! I used this on my toes for my holiday, and it makes you look really tanned! Also the colour is gorgeous!

Body/Random Favourites

Body Shop Mango Body Scrub

I love the smell of this! I have been using this scrub as the weather got warmer, to buff away my skin and I love the effect of this! It makes my skin feel so soft, and as I mentioned , it smells amazing! If mango isn't for you, there are lots of different scents so next time you pass by The Body Shop, go in and have a sniff!

St Ives Fresh Skin Invigorating Apricot Scrub

Sticking to scrubbing away dead skin cells (That sounds nice..) This month, I have been loving this scrub for my face. It's not too abrasive but I can still feel it better than other scrubs I have used in the past. The scent of this is also really nice, and it hasn't broken me out.

Tangle Teezer

This has been my lifesaver of the month. I love this hairbrush, and I cannot reccomend it enough! It works well on wet hair as well which is really handy, especially when you are jumping in and out of the pool/sea. Also my mum and sister love it too, which is very rare!

Taylor Swift Wonderstruck Perfume

I took this on my holiday and now every time I spray it, it reminds me of Spain! I love this, it's quite sweet, but not too much.. Okay I am awful at describing scents, but If you get the chance to smell it, please do!

Randomly, this month I have had an OBSESSION with lemon sorbet. I love it! It's so refreshing and I just love it! Yummy! Now I want some lemon sorbet :(

Also from Costa, I've been loving their Red Berry Cooler, It is so yummy and all of my friends like it too!

So, there are the things I have been loving throughout July!

Have you tried the Tangle Teezer?

Lust List #3

Aren't you guys lucky, ay? Two posts in one day! What in the world is happening? Only joking, I'm just really in the mood to blog and I have seen quite a few things I want lately so I thought, why not. YOLO and all that.

I'll start from the top and make my way round clockwise so you can follow along easily. Also I've linked all the products so if you were interested in buying them you can go have a look.  Aren't I nice... :P

I'm starting college in September and I reaaallllyyyy want these for when I start. I have two other pairs of converse and they are by far my most worn shoes. I love converse! I want these white ones because they will go with anything, and they just look cool!

Slip on Chelsea Boots in Tan £17.99

I want these boots for in the Autumn at college, I feel like these will look good with jeans which is what I like to wear the most. I like these ones because they don't have a heel so they look more casual.

Mi Paisley Backpack - Burgundy £21.99

If you couldn't already tell, I'm on a bit of a college hype at the moment. This is because on Monday, I went to an induction day where I got to try out the lessons I've picked to study for A-Level (French, English Language, Classical Civilization and Sociology if you were wondering :P) ANYWAY I had a backpack for secondary school and it was so useful. I much prefer backpacks to handbags when it comes to school as they are comfier, and you can get more in them. I like this one because it looks pretty :)

ASOS Ridley Acid Wash High Waisted Jeans £14.99

Before I start, you can get these on ASOS but they cost £30 but on Ebay they are £14.99 so be careful when you buy! Anyway I really like the look of high waisted jeans and I've wanted some acid wash jeans for a while. These look quite nice to me, and they are affordable too! Also these would look good with the converse.

Nintendo 3DS XL Pink £164.99

In infant school, I had a pink gameboy colour, in Junior school I had a Nintendo DS Lite in Pink, and now I really really want a Nintendo 3DS XL in you guessed it... PINK. Now the main reason I want this is because of the game I'll talk about next, however I might get a pre-owned 3DS which would only be £80. I really want one, my nerdy side is getting desperate!

Animal Crossing: New Leaf £29.99

This is the main reason why I want the 3DS. I Loved the original version of Animal Crossing and I think I need this. Well, I don't NEED it, I 'need' it! This sounds cool because you can actually be the mayor of your town whereas before you were just living in it. If you don't play Animal Crossing you will have no idea what I just rambled on about!

So there are some things I want at the moment. I'm hoping I do well in my exams because my parents said they would give me some money depending on what grades I get. (If you guys are reading this, I would like to kindly remind you about my A* In RE... yes Dad, It does count.)

Prom FOTN + Prom Pictures!

WARNING: This post will be very picture heavy! Sorry if this bothers you.

Last week I had my prom. In England the Year 11 prom is something you look forward to for about 5 years. (Well, at least I did!) I had an amazing time so I thought I'd show you the makeup I decided to wear, and some pictures from the event. This is a blog post for you, but also I can look back at this post in a couple of years and be reminded all over again. So without further ado....

I'll list all the products from left to right, and then I'll write what I did, as I wrote instructions to myself on the day.

  4. Apply the lip conditioner and apply powder. Fill in your brows using the Rimmel Brow Pencil.
  5. Apply the Urban Decay Primer all over your eyes. Apply Sellotape to the corners of your eyes ready for eyeshadow. (Gives a defined line)

  11. Apply the Max Factor Lip Stain 08 and Benefit Gloss in Foxy Lady over it.
Unfortunately I didn't really get a great close up on my makeup, but you can see how it looks in the photos. Obviously, I'm not a makeup artist and this was just how I did my makeup. :)
