Review: The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash
Hello again!
Apologies for the blurry photo, but today I am going to be reviewing my holy grail face wash- The Body Shops Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Wash.
I discovered this through Essie Buttons YouTube Channel, and this is my second bottle of the stuff! I love using it, and my skin seems to think so to!
You get 100ml of product, and it costs £5 so it isn't too different to what I would pay usually for a face wash anyway. Why I like this so much, is because it feels so cooling when you rinse it off, and it leaves my face feeling really clean, but not dried out. It also is effective in dealing with breakouts, thanks to the Tea Tree, and even when I do have a nasty spot, if I keep using this, it will be gone in a couple of days!
I have oily/combination skin, and this works beautifully, however Estee (Essie Button) has Normal / dry skin and she loves it to! I would say to definitely give this a go, if you are looking for a cheap, effective face wash that actually works!
5/5!

5 Minute Makeup!
Hey,
Recently, although it is summer now, I have been sleeping in a lot, so I have had very little time to get ready, so I have managed to get my makeup routine to around 5 minutes and I thought I'd share it with you!
So, first things first (I'm the realest) I wash my face, and then I apply the Maybelline Dream Pure BB Oil Free Cream all over my face. I like this product during summer, because it isn't heavy coverage, but it still has medium coverage, and feels and looks very natural. It also has SPF which is a plus! I usually apply this with clean hands onto my face, and then blend it out with a beauty blender, or a foundation brush.
Then I move onto concealer, and at the moment I am enjoying using the ELF Studio Full Coverage Concealer. I use this on my spots, redness, and if I need to, i'll put a little bit under my eyes.
Then, I mattify my face, with the Rimmel Stay Matte Powder which is an essential for me, and I do it every day- without fail. This is my holy grail powder and I have repurchased this at least 6 times...
After this, I decide its time to tame my eyebrows, so I reach for the Elf Eyebrow Kit which I am used to doing now so It doesn't take me long, however if you prefer using a pencil, then go for it! Whatever you can do the fastest really!
When I am not in a rush, I like to do a simple eyeshadow look, but theres no time for that today! Instead I dab a little bit of Mac Bare Study Paint Pot on my eyes, to cancel out the veins, and add a little shimmer, and then I line my upper lash line with the Urban Decay 24/7 Glide on Liner in Corruption.
Then I curl my lashes (essential step in my makeup routine!) and apply Benefit They're Real Mascara to my top and bottom lashes.
To finish off the look, I put a little bit of Revlon Just Bitten Kissable Balm Stain in Honey on my lips, to brighten up my face, and make me look less dead!
So there we have it! My quick make up routine! Let me know your tips for getting ready quickly in the comments below!
Bye! x

Empties #3
Hello!
Long time no see! I have been rather busy at the moment, but now I am back! And i am armed with about 4 months worth of used products to share with you so lets get started.
x2 Simple Skincare Makeup Removing Wipes
I went through a face wipe stage, and these are the best ones I have come across. They are a bit more expensive than usual ones, but they are really soft, and they don't irritate my skin, so I would definitely repurchase!
The Body Shop Tea Tree Cool & Creamy Facial Wash
I love this! It is my new favourite face wash. It is really refreshing and helps soothe and prevent break outs and its only £5, I already have repurchased this, and I will continue to do so!
Soap & Glory Scrub Your Nose In It
this was a really abrasive scrub, and it was really nice, although I probably wont repurchase for a while as I want to try some more scrubs and compare them to it.
Superdrug deep pore cleansing pads
These were amazing! I used them after cleansing and it just made sure it was really cleansed, and also helped when I had any spots. I would repurchase these, as they were very affordable.
Deep Cleansing Face Pore Strips
I used these on my nose, and to be honest I didn't see that much of a difference, but i found it really interesting peeling it off! Thats really gross isn't it...
L'oreal Skin Perfection Oil
I wanted to try a cleansing oil, but I didn't want to spend loads of money, so I opted for this. I actually really enjoyed using this, and I would repurchase, but I am trying another cleanser at the moment, so I don't need to!
Avons Natural Juicy Watermelon Shower Gel
This is really summery, and well it's a shower gel, so I would repurchase ahah! Don't wanna be skankyyyyyy
Benefit its Potent Eye Cream
I used this sample ages ago, but I seem to remember it felt nice and refreshing around my eyes, but I am not going to repurchase this because its a bit too expensive for me!
Charles Worthington Salon Finish Heat Defence Spray
This was pretty bog standard, and I didnt really feel like it did anything special, although it did prevent split ends so that's a plus!
L'oreal Elnett Satin Hairspray
I didn't really like this, because I have really thick hair and this just didnt seem to hold it.
Aussie Miracle Moist Shampoo & Conditioner
I took these to Tunisia with me and they were amaaazing! They smelled lush, and made my hair feel incredible! Definitely will repurchase these.
Eyeko Skini Mini Liquid Eyeliner
I got this with a magazine and it was actually very good! If you get the chance to try this, I'd say go for it!
Benefit They're Real Mascara
I adore this mascara, and I have already repurchased it! I am a bit of a mascara whore, so this must be very special if I repurchased:P
Collection Lasting Perfection Concealer
I think everyone has heard about this.. But anyway I really loved using this and I need to repurchase it soon! Its high coverage and affordable!
Collection Illuminating Touch Concealer
I used this under my eyes and it really worked nicely at brightening them up a bit! I would probably repurchase.
So there we go!
phewwww.

The Most Incredible Trip of My Life | Italy 2014
Hello!
Firstly sorry for the lack of posts, and also i decided not to do a June Favourites as I didn't really try out anything new! Anyway...
In June, I went on a trip to the Bay of Naples with my Classical Civilisation class, and I can honestly say it was one of the most incredible trips of my life, and I will never forget it. In this post I'm just going to post a few pictures and explain what I did each day, so this time next year when I have finished college (eek) I can look back and remember what an awesome time I had. You have been warned. There will be a lot of pictures!
Friday 20th June
I dont have any interesting pictures, because this day consisted of travelling from college to Gatwick, and then waiting around for hours to get our plane, and by the time we got to Italy it was pitch black!

Saturday 21st June
This was one of my favourite days. We went to Pompeii, which was incredible and I'm so incredibly lucky to have seen such an amazing place in my lifetime. After Pompeii we went swimming, and in the evening we went to Sorrento's street market and me and my friend got ice cream and wandered around chatting until we eventually brought a can of fanta lemon and retreated back to our room!
a view of mount vesuvius and pompeii
The bodies were fascinating.
my first italian pizza!
Some snaps from our evening in Sorrento!
Sunday 22nd June
On this day we drove on a beautiful road with breathtaking views to a little italian village called Amalfi, which was stunning! Me and Bronwyn had two ice creams within the space of an hour... I have no regrets. Then we drove for what seemed like forever to a town called Paestum, which has some of the best greek temples in the world, which were amazing to see. I also remember having an amazing pizza!
The views from the drive to Amalfi
The best Ice cream I have ever had, it was creme caramel flavoured!
The second ice cream we had in an hour, I have no regrets, Amalfi had good ice cream!
The best pizza I had in Italy.
The temples in Paestum were amazing, not to mention how huge they were!
Monday 23rd June
We went to Herculaneum on this day, which was another famous town affected by the eruption. It was very interesting, although I have to admit I prefered Pompeii, however lots of people seemed to find Herculaneum more interesting as second floors to houses had been preserved, which was amazing. After this we went and swam in the pool, and then about 11 of us went out for a meal where I had the best Spaghetti Bolognese everrrrrrr.
cheeky selfies
the first of many cat selfies. this one had fleas so I kept my distance!
GOODNESS RIGHT THERE UGHGHH I NEED IT LOLL
Tuesday 24th June
We got a boat to the island of Capri which was very beautiful yet very expensive! I got a lemon slushie for 5 euros! it was a good lemon slushie but that is not the point! Anyway, we hiked to find Tiberius' villa which had amazing views, and in the evening me and my friend went swimming, and we also got pizza and ice cream for one last time!
Views from the boat to Capri
This was my favourite cat I saw!

Dinner date... sort of!
Wednesday 25th June
This day was our last day in italy, and in the morning we climbed the volcano, Vesuvius, and in the evening we got our flight back home, although it was delayed by 2 and a half hours!!!!
Overall I had such an incredible trip, and if you are interested in history- or just like hot weather- I highly reccomend Italy.
Tomorrow at 3am I am going to Tunisia with my family which I am so excited about, but there will be a lack of blog posts next week, but I am on my summer holidays now! Expect to see more lifestyle posts during summer!
Hope you enjoyed my holiday snaps!
Ciao!
Lauren xx
