Review: Rêve De Miel Lip Balm

Hello!

It feels like I haven't blogged in ages! My last post is my August Fav's, and I'm planning my September favourites now... that's bad! So I apologize- however I have started college this month and so I have been adjusting to that!

Anyway, On to todays post! I got this lip balm when I went to France in July, and I can truly say it is the best lip balm I have ever used!!

At first, I thought I would not like this because it has a very citrus scent to it, but you barely notice it when it is on the lips. This is what I would say is a true 'balm' consistency. It is really thick and for that reason I love using this before I go to bed, as you can really slather it on the lips!!

It makes my lips so incredibly soft, and as the winter months are creeping up on us, this might be your saviour!

It is packaged in a glass jar which looks so pretty on my bedside table, and this will last you for ages! It has 15g (0.52oz) of product in, and I bought mine from a french pharmacy for about 4 Euros.

You can get hold of it in the UK for £9.50 and free delivery on feelunique.com (link) For some people, this might be a bit pricey for a lipbalm, but If you suffer from chapped/dry lips, this might be just the thing you need!!

It also doesn't have an overly glossy finish on the lips, which I really like!

Overall, I would give this 4.5 out of 5. I'm not a huge fan of the scent, but the product itself  is amazeballs. Did I really just say that?... oh dear!

So sorry for the lack of posts  recently, but my next post should be my september fav's, so look forward to that!!

August Favourites 2013

Hello, long time no speak, but I have been extremely busy since receiving my GCSE Results. I have moved house, enrolled at college, been working, and today I had my first day at college, which went really well.

Anyway, this post is a smidge late, but I have not had internet for a while, as we have just moved house, but hey! Better late than never!

August flew by for me, and I think it was probably one of the busiest months of my life/year. Because of this, I don't really have that many favourites, but the ones I do have, really have been true faves, so without further ado...

1. St Ives Naturally Clear Apricot Blemish Fighting Scrub

I have been loving this scrub this month, especially where it has been so hot! I am a really big fan of the St Ives scrubs, as they are really abrasive  but they get the job done. This one also has salicylic acid in it, which helps heal and prevent acne.

2. Bioderma Crealine H20

When I went to france, I picked up two huge bottles of this because I really wanted to try it, and I'm so glad I did. When I first used this, I didn't really understand the hype around it, but after a while of using it, I really am loving it. I use this at night to remove my makeup, and it really does get rid of it all, whilst being really refreshing on the skin. I think you can get cheaper micellar waters that do similar things, but if you get the chance to- give this one a whirl!

3. Reve de Miel Lip Balm

Again, I purchased this in France, and I'm glad I did. This is a really thick lipbalm which really nourishes and moisturizes the lips, without being really greasy. It also has a really nice smell! I use this at night before I go to bed, and my lips have been silky soft!

4. MAC Pro Longwear Eyeliner in Rich Experience

I have been liking eyeliner this month, and this one was the one I gravitated towards the most. Its a really beautiful brown colour, so isn't too harsh on the eyes. It's easy to smudge out when wet, but when it dries, It will not budge until you want it to!

5. KIKO Luxurious Lashes Waterproof Mascara

I have been using this on the days I have work, and it  ensures my eyelashes won't have smudged  all over the place by the end of the day. It defines my lashes really well, and it holds a curl well- which is also good for me, as I love a good curl in my lashes ;)

6. Urban Decay NAKED Basics Palette

I'm sure most of you have heard about this by now, but this month I have leant towards a more matte eyeshadow look, and this has been my go to palette. All of the colours in here are really high in quality, and pigmentation, and they stay put all day when I use a primer with them.

7. Revlon Colorstay Foundation

I think this has become my holy grail foundation. I love the way it stays on my face all day, with minimal shine and amazing coverage. I'm starting to run low on this, but I definitely will be repurchasing!

So there you have it! My august favourites. I can't believe it is September already and I have just started College. It's so crazy! My life is becoming a lot more interesting now, and I'm looking forward to see where it takes me! Living the adventure ;)

See you soon! xx
