Review : Soap & Glory The Breakfast Scrub
Hell0, long time no speak! Sorry about that :/
Anyway, today I thought i'd do a review as I haven't done one in a while and I really wanted to do one!
Anyway so I remember my mum used to be obsessed with soap and glory a couple of years ago, and each year for christmas she'd get a huge hamper full of stuff- which I used to use ;) (sorry mum!) But I always remember this!
It used to come in a rounded tub which resembled a bowl slightly (get it, breakfast scrub?...) but now it comes in a regular tub.
I love this body scrub for two main reasons. Firstly, the smell is absolutely incredible and it is by far my favourite scent of their body scrubs. It smells like syrup and sweetness and just amazingness! If you get a chance to sniff this in boots, I highly reccomend you do! The second reason I love this is because it makes my skin so so soft. In my opinion, I do not see the point in having a gentle body scrub, because I find that, for me, they just don't do anything. This is quite a heavy duty scrub- which i'm a fan of as it makes me feel like i'm getting rid of all the dead skin properly. (Lush!!!)
A little goes a long way with this, and I mainly use it on my legs, and occasionally my arms. When I get out of the bath/shower I smell so good, and feel so soft!!
If you are on the hunt for a new scrub, then I reccomend the soap & glory ones. Even if this scent doesn't appeal to you, they have a few other options available!!

This was short but sweet, but y'know- why waffle on when you could get straight to the point?! My next post will most likely be my january favourites and here's a little secret for you- this has made the shortcut!!
Bye! :D

2014
Hello guys.
I just wanted to do a rambly post today as I feel like I haven't done one of these in ages and it's good to reflect sometimes.
2013 was a bit of a mixed year for me. It had its highs and lows, so i'll list a few things that made 2013 memorable for me.
1. I started my blog! Although I don't have the biggest audience, to me that doesn't really matter, as it is something I enjoy, and I love chatting with you all.
2. I finished secondary school, and had my prom which was so lovely. I got my GCSE results back, and I was really pleased with them. If you'd like to see what I took to prom with me, click here, and if you're curious as to what grades I got, then click here.
3. I was very lucky and got to go on two holidays this year. I went to spain in July, and France in August. Here are some holiday snaps!
Spain 2013

beautiful views
ugly faces
cheeky things in a vending machine ;) I'm too immature.
France 2013
in a beautiful city, but my hair is looking tragic.
about to get on the ferry. #cheekycarselfie
on the beach in lovely rainy weather-.-
playing badminton like a pro
cheeky group photo ;)
5. I started college, and made new friends. Starting college is a massive step, and everything changes, but luckily lots of my friends went to the same college as me, and we have added to our friend group.
6. I'm in a relationship that I am really happy with :)
There are just a few nice things that happened to me in 2013. Although 2013 was quite a significant year for me, it did have its lows but- what year doesn't!
I know its so cliche to say that 'a new year a new me' but for me, I really want to do things in 2014. I'm going to share with you some of the things I'd like to achieve this year.
1. Stop worrying what other people think about me, and do what makes me happy. This is something I think will make me happier overall, as I am so hung up about making other people happy, that I often forget about myself.
2. Try and get healthier. I'm not going to go on any crazy diet, but I do want to try exercising a lot more, and I know that I can. Plus I am going to be a bridesmaid in September, and I would like to feel comfortable in myself :)
3. Try and achieve good AS level results. A Levels are a lot harder from GCSE's and it's a big step up. I really want to come away from College with good results, so I'm going to try my best to achieve this.
4. Decide on a career path for the future. At the end of this year, I will have applied for University so It's really important that I decide what I'd like to do.
5. Learn to drive! I'm turning 17 this year, and I'd really like to learn how to drive, and past my test on my first try! My mum and Dad passed their test first time round, so i'd like to as well. Im putting a bit of pressure on myself but oh well!
6. Step out of my comfort zone more. I need to learn to be more social, and talk to people more, so I am going to strive to do this in 2014.
7. Update my blog, and try to post as regularly as I can. I really enjoy doing my blog, but I think it needs a makeover! Once I have settled into college again, I will concentrate on this, and I'm going to try and make my pictures of a better quality.
So there are my new years resolutions! I don't know if I will do them, but I don't think they are too strenuous and they are quite achievable.
My blog is one year old in february which is very exciting! I might do an updated makeup collection for it! But I am not sure yet.
So, do you make any new years resolutions? Let me know :)
Have a wonderful new year:D
Love from Lauren
