Leapord Face Makeup

So last week, for one of my nights out the theme was Zoo Animals, and I didnt really fancy wearing anything zoo animal like (also i dont really own any zoo animal like clothing!) so i thought i'd be creative with my makeup instead, and this is what I came up with!

So this is what I created/recreated! (I looked at so many different tutorials on youtube for inspiration! Shaanxo's was particularly good if you're interested!)

Anyway, so I did my face makeup as usual, and I did my eyebrows a little darker than I usually would, as I wanted them to stand out. Then I put sellotape on the corners of my eyes, to give my eyeshadow a really sharp edge, and I took a light brown and blended it through my crease.

Then I took a shimmery darker brown shade and put it on my eyelids. I Was going to leave the eyeshadow like that but I felt like it was a bit too dark, so I added some gold eyeshadow onto the middle of my eyelids. I created this look using the original Naked Palette, but you could use any brown/gold shadows and they would work fine!

I did a dramatic winged eyeliner, and I extended it past the inner corners of my eyes to make them look more feline- which was actually very difficult! I had to redo it several times so dont worry if you dont get it first try!

I added lots and lots of bronzer, to make my face look a lot more bronzed,  and After adding mascara, and peeling off the sellotape,  I took the same brown eyeshadow that I used in my crease and created random splodges of colour on my cheeks and temples. I then outlined them using random brush strokes with a liquid eyeliner.

I drew on and filled in a little black nose, and added some holes where the whiskers would be on a leapord, I also drew a black line from my cupids bow to my lips to connect everything together. I outlined my lips with liquid eyeliner, and I smudged some black eyeshadow on the top, to set it in place. I applied some pink lipstick on the centre of my lips and that was my look done!!

I decided to wear all black, and curl my hair and that was the look!
My roommate dressed as a bee! hahaha not very zoo animal but we justified it as in the summer the bees hang around the bins... so it counted!

Hope you enjoyed this post!
Let me know what you think:)

My MAC Lipstick Collection | 2015

Today I thought I would share with you all of my MAC lipsticks! I still want to get loads more, but this is what I have so far....

The top picture is swatches without a flash, and the bottom is with flash.

From Left to right we have, Lustering, Mehr, Capricious, Syrup, Plumful, Russian Red & Viva Glam 1

Lustering:

Apologies for poor quality pictures. Lustering is a lustre finish, and is a nice natural pink shade, which is very wearable.

Mehr:

This is Mehr, which has a matte finish, I really like this shade, particularly when paired with MAC soar lip pencil. Its a berry toned nude.

Capricious:

This is a browny pink shade, which looks really nice in autumn, and is very wearable. This also has a lustre finish, which means its very buildable and has some shine to it.

Syrup:

This is probably my most neutral one, its quite similar to mehr, but it isnt matte, its a lustre. I wear this on days where I want to wear something on my lips that isnt too noticeable. It's a my lips but better shade.

Plumful:

This was my first ever MAC lipstick and I still love it! Its a purpley pink lipstick, with a lustre finish. I like to wear this when I want some colour on my lips that is noticeable but not too in your face.

Russian Red:

This is an iconic lipstick from Mac, its a bright red in a matte finish and I really like it. It doesnt dry my lips out, and lasts for a long time.

Viva Glam 1:

Again, a matte red, but it has more brown tones in it, and personally I find this shade a lot easier to wear. It lasts for ages, and I think it suits me quite well:)

Again sorry for the crappy pictures! Next on my list is Chili, See Sheer, and D for Danger. I also want to try a bright pink lipstick! I will update you if I get any of these!

Whats your favourite MAC  lipstick/ what one do you want to try?

My Halloween Outfit and Makeup! | 2015

Hello again!

So, although Halloween has been and gone, I just wanted to post my outfit and makeup on here as it was really fun for me to do, and also I want to look back on it and remember!

So, i decided to go as dead minnie mouse ( I was going to go as a cat, as i am crazy cat lady, but i felt like i would be considered too basic so i went as minnie mouse instead...)

Outfit:

Cardigan/jacket: DebenhamsT
Top: BooHoo
Skirt: H&M
Shoes: Everything 5 Pounds
Minnie mouse ears from paris!

Please enjoy the cringey selfies ;)

So with my outfit, it was a last minute party, and I didnt want to go out and buy an outfit because money, and also- i wasnt that bothered!! So I thought as I had the minnie mouse ears in my room that I would just wear red and black and i think it worked out ok?!

In terms of my hair and makeup,  basically what I did was crimped my hair, with the Babyliss waving tool, and backcombed it a bit. I really enjoyed my makeup, because I love getting creative and taking my time on it, so it was pretty fun to create.

I started off by doing my typical 'night out' makeup- a bit of a smokey eyeshadow look, winged eyeliner, lots of mascara and red lips. Then I used liquid eyeliner to draw a nose on myself, for the minnie mouse part! If you didnt want to look scary you could just leave it there! But i wanted to look like I had put a little bit of effort in!

I bought myself some fake blood, and used it to create some tears coming from my eyes, and i also blended in lots of black eyeshadow under my eyes to make me look more dead...

Then i used liquid eyeliner to draw some stitches on my cheek, and i just blended some brown and black eyeliner around that to make it look semi-realistic! Then i used some of the fake blood on a sponge and dabbed it around the corners of my mouth, mainly because i wanted to use more of the fake blood! hahaha!

So yeah- that was my halloween outfit! I had a good time this year, and Im already thinking about potential outfits for next year- halloween at uni is taken very seriously! haha!

Hope you enjoyed :)

A lot has happened...

Hey!

So long time no talk- i should really just stop writing that as i seem to be writing it on every blog post!! Anyway, a lot has happened since we last spoke...

Probably the most noticeable one is that I'm at University now, I know, how did that happen? But yeah, I no longer live at home, I live in Brighton, which i'm loving! A lot has changed but I'm excited about the future :)

So, i'm studying Media and Communications and  I've been at uni for 2 months now. Already I can say that it definitely changes you, and you have to learn to deal with a lot of new things, but overall I am enjoying it!

I've met some really nice people, and im enjoying my course so its all good! I will post some pictures in my next post, but I just wanted to type this one quickly,(actually im procrastinating, i need to do some work!) but I will be posting more on here, as i think i will want to look back over these years.

See you soon
